Deatnu/Tana – Polmak kirke (Church)

  Polmak kirke er en langkirke fra 1853 i Polmak i Tana.

Byggverket er i tre og har 180 sitteplasser. Den ble sannsynligvis oppført etter tegninger utført lokalt og med bemertana-polmak-kirke8kninger fra Johan Henrik Nebelong.

Kirken er langstrakt og satt sammen av fire deler, hvorav midtpartiet som inneholder skipet og koret er den eldste.[3]

Kirken var blitt slitt og i dårlig forfatning etter andre verdenskrig. I samarbeid med Riksantikvaren sto Trond Dancke for en utvidelse og restaurering av bygningen i 1959. Inngangspartiet ble fornyet og kirkeskipet forlenget. Den fikk også et galleri.

CEDA is wood and has 180 seats. It was probably built after drawings made locally and with remarks from Johan Henrik Ntana-polmak-kirke5ebelong.
The church is elongated and composed of four parts, of which the middle part containing the ship and the choir is the oldest. [3]
The church had become worn and in poor condition after WWII. In cooperation with the Directorate stood Trond Dancke for an expansion and restoration of the building in 1959. The entrance was renewed and the nave extended. It also got a gallery.
