I løpet av årene fra 1989 har Kystdrakten slått seg ned langs hele den norske kyststripa fra Halden i Sør til Kirkenes i nord.Kystdrakter K 2

Seleskjørt og sjal leveres i 100% ullstoff og skjorta i hvit bomullslerret. Skjørtet er mellomgrått med mørkebl

Bak på sjalet er ei terne i flukt. The back of the shawl depicts a tern in flight.

ått sjal og belte. Skjørt og lomme er kantet med mørkeblått ullstoff og sjalet med frynser. Kanten langs skjørt og sjal har fargerike broderier av blomster fra kystfloraen. Smekke og lomme er brodert med røsslyng, og bak på sjalet er ei terne i flukt, skjorta har broderier av krekling langs linning i hals og på mansjetter. Mørkeblå strømper og enkle sko anbefales til drakten.

  For coastal people from north to south

In the years from 1989 the coast costume has become common along the entire Norwegian coastline from Halden in the south to Kirkenes in the north.

The strap skirt and shawl is made of 100% wool while the shirt is of white cotton canvas. The skirt is medium grey with a dark blue shawl and belt. The skirt and pockets is lined with dark blue wool while the shawl has a fringe. The edge of the skirt and shawl have colorful embroideries of flowers from coastal flora. The bib and pocket is embroidered with heather, and the back of the shawl depicts a tern in flight. The shirt has embroideries of cranberries along the hem pm the neck and cuffs. Dark blue stockings and simple shoes are recommended for the costume.
