Dyfjord ligger sør -øst for Kjøllefjord, en biltur på ca. 20 minutter. Dyfjord er et av de beste småfiskeværene i Finnmark, og har i dag ca 50 innbyggere. Stedet har en moderne fiskeribedrift med mottak og produksjon, og det er anlagt en moderne fiskerihavn med molo, flytebrygger og kai.
Det er bygget nytt vannverk i Dyfjord, og stedet har annen offentlig infrastruktur som post, grendehus samt skolebygg som benyttes til andre aktiviteter. De kommunale fritids- og kulturaktiviteter er redusert som følge av at det ikke er skole på stedet.
Stedet har to regulerte bebygde boligområder.
Dyfjord lies south-east of Kjøllefjord, a road trip of approx. 20 minutes. Dyfjord is one of the best small fishing villages in Finnmark, and currently has about 50 inhabitants. The site has a modern fishing company with reception and production, and a modern fishing harbor with pier, floating docks and quay has been built.
There is a new waterworks plant in Dyfjord, and the site has other public infrastructure such as mail, grandehus and school buildings that are used for other activities. Municipal leisure and cultural activities are reduced due to the fact that there is no school on the spot.
